The Brave by wreck-photography The Brave by wreck-photography
Feels like an age since i have been behind a camera. After our 3 week holiday of intense camera action it was kinda nice to have a break. Its an even better feeling to be back in the game though.

Found this spot a while ago by accident and have been waiting for a nice evening to shoot it. The weather just about held for me to get a few shots.

Firle Beacon - East Sussex - UK

HDR panoramic.

5 Images high. 3 exp per photo. Total of 15 jpgs.

Love this photo - just curious about the order things happen in. Do you create three panos (one for each exposure) and then use them for the HDR software or do you make the HDRs first and then merge them into the pano.

I Stitch the 3 seperate exposures then chuck them into the hdr software. Really glad you like the image :)

But then how did you manage to keep your images so 'realistic' looking. when i try make a HDR i don't get the effect i want i looks like the image flattens some how. got any advise/tips ?

Thanks for that. Just curious, because I know that PTGui can do it all in one go - HDR, stitching, the lot, but it always seemed a step too complicated for me. Anyway - congrats again - very few people do HDR well and you're certainly one of them.
